Summary:
The Banquet Set-up position is a very physical position requiring heavy lifting and moving.
The restaurant banquet set-up person is responsible for room set-up of restaurant banquet and catering events, ensuring room is clean and set according to Restaurant Event Order details.
Will also break down rooms, making sure room is neat and clean and all tables, chairs, AV equipment, etc.

May be responsible for service of coffee breaks for meetings.

Responsible for room set-up of all banquet and catering events in the restaurant.
Ensure that restaurant banquet rooms are clean and set according to Banquet Event Order details.
Responsible for breaking down rooms after events; making sure the room is neat and clean, all tables, chairs and AV equipment is put back in its proper place.
Service of coffee breaks for meetings, as needed.
The restaurant banquet set-up person is frequently required to lift up to 25 lb.
All other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION and/or
Experience:
High School diploma or GED required.
Banquet experience preferred.
Bonus paid in three installments:
$250 after 90 days, $500 after 6 months, and $1250 after 1 year.
